In high school I always wanted to start my own youtube channel but I never knew how to start one or how people would react to it. Now that I am in my second year of collage, I think I have enough confidence and determination to actually get into the right path of starting one. My topic will focus on “how to become a youtuber”.

As many people know, there are thousands of youtubers and many categories I can choose from such as makeup, fashion, comedy, etc. I am unsure of what my main focus will be but i hope throughout this project, I will be able to figure out what interests me most. Most of my content and material will come from existing youtubers and even social media influencers. They would be my guide on not only how to find and connect with an audience but to also know what content to post and how often.

Unit 2 focuses on logos. On youtube, each youtuber has a header on their page which is their logo. I look forward to learning how to create my own header for my future channel. Unit 3 is where we make an audio story. I plan on either brainstorming my first youtube video or doing kind of like a podcast episode. Unit 4 is where we make a video story. My goal is to create my first video for my channel.

Jasmine Brown has been a big inspiration for me for a couple of years now. Above is a link to her instagram page that shows her style and creativity that I just love! She has been active on youtube and other social media platforms since before 2015. I watched her fan base grow and it had me in awe wanting to do the same some day.

Ceraadi is a group of sisters who make youtube videos about literally anything from music playlist to advice talks. The reason why they inspire me is because they originally started out at a group of 3 but then had a public mini scandal and had to let one of the sisters go. The two remaining sisters handled the situation well and carried on like nothing happened. They have became even more known and even have new music of their own out.

The youtube creator award is a big accomplishment in the youtube world. It is an award that you will receive once you reach 100,000 subscribers to your channel. It’s a huge success to celebrate. I hope one day i will receive the youtube creator award.
