My video right now is under major construction. My main idea was to make an intro for my youtube videos I will be posting on my page in the future. I still want to continue with the idea but right now i am having trouble because my videos don’t quite fit correctly. I wanted my intro to include video clips of me or me and my friends to show a little bit of my life adventures. Usually intros aren’t longer than at least 10 to 15 seconds so making a 1-2 minute intro is a little difficult.
The videos in my intro are from my phone camera roll or my snapchat. They are videos i have taken throughout the past few months because i wanted to keep it as recent as possible. My goal to help fix this video is to find a song that will go well with my videos and is a song that makes you want to keep listening and watching. I also want to edit some of my videos and maybe find some new ones so it doesn’t look so rough and choppy. I also want to figure out what kind of transitions i want to use. I am also even thinking of looking up some effects to make some videos pop out more. Right now my video is not very entertaining so i am hoping for some major change within the next week!

Hey Mikayla, I like your idea for this video. I think you have some great content, but the videos don’t quite fill the frame. Because these were recorded in the moment though, it would be impossible to replace this footage with horizontal footage. However, they capture some great memories, so I think it’s ok that they don’t fill the whole frame. I would first recommend adding in some music to make the video montage more engaging, but you might want to consider adding some voiceover as well. Even if you never make this YouTube channel about your life and adventures, you could come up with a script describing what it will be about in this introductory video. A lot of youtubers also include footage of themselves talking to the camera in an “interview style,” so that might be a good addition to this too. Otherwise, adding in some transitions and an intro/outro would really add to this project. Good luck!

Hi Mikayla, I thought your video was packed full of some very good and interesting content that was used to show some in the moment footage of how much fun you have been having with snap chat memories. I think that you should be able to add some music to the background of your memories so that you can make different aspects of your video seem more energetic. I know it is hard to find a good upbeat music but if not you could add some captions to explain where you are or when the event took place. This way people can be more aware of what is happening in your video. I really did think that you did a very good job at putting the videos together in a form that makes it seem like you are having a lot of fun. All of your videos are very diverse which is very good because it shows you doing a bunch of different activities. Thank you for sharing and I think with some good background music or audio it could be an amazing project.
