I honestly am not 100 percent satisfied with my audio story but it still did the trick. I wanted it to be more of like a back and forth podcast but since my guest doesn’t live in pullman, it made it harder to do that without the quality of the sudio sounding pretty poor. I went with an introduction, detail, ask a guest a question, and then conclusion type of format. I stuck with my original idea to talk about why I wanted to join youtube. I also kept my guest because i liked hearing from someone who was actually on a popular youtube channel. I had three different audio clips i had to put together plus lay some music underneath it. I first put my intro and main points and then followed it with me asking my cousin a question and her response. I thought i wanted to add something in between the mini interview and the conclusion but everything i tried to add did not flow right with everything else.I then kept my conclusion the same. I used the instrumental to Ariana Grande’s song, God is a Women, because I love the beat to it. It’s a chill and soft beat. My favorite part of the instrumental is the begging of the song so i just looped that the entire audio story so the beat did not change throughout the podcast. I got the instrumental from a free music download site. Finally I listened to all of it together and tried to level out the voice audio and the music so one clip wasn’t overpowering the other. Since my interview was over the phone, the quality of the audio isn’t the best but I think i got it to sound as good as possible. This was a fun learning experience that allowed me to branch out and think of a creative way of getting out my information rather than just writing it into a paper like usual projects are.
