My new final draft looks nothing like my rough draft but I am okay with that because there were a couple of changes that I felt like that there need to be done. I completely scrapped the entire look because I wasn’t the biggest fan of the color of the background or the chosen picture in the text of my name.The font and the picture in my name kind of fought with each other so i knew that had to be changed as well. It was very difficult to read my name with the chosen font so I went online and downloaded a more bold and easier to read font.

I changed the background color to a baby blue because it is softer and is easier on the eyes than the brighter pinkish purple background I originally had. This color also ties together perfectly with the font and the picture. My chosen picture is diamonds because I believe that I am always shining and living up to my fullest potential. I originally wanted to put a collage of four pictures of myself since the youtube channel is about me, i wanted to showcase that in my name but when i put the collage in the text, it didn’t look right because my name is too long. The picture just looks super stretched out so that’s why i resulted to another picture less complicated.

I went on youtube again to relearn how to import a photo into text because I totally forgot how to do it even though there are only like three or four short simple steps. I also went on google and found the image of diamonds on a pick your background type of site.

My final is pretty simple but I like it because i will go more into depth in my youtube videos. I think everything ties in together nicely and is cute.

I chose to make my logo my name because last unit I created a header for my channel but along with the header comes your name. Most youtubers have cool or memorable fonts for their name so i knew i had to spice up my font from last unit. I realized that my draft looks nothing like my sketch because I found a tutorial on how to add pictures in the text after i drew out my sketch.

I thought it would be really cute to add pictures that relate to me inside of my name. For the draft I found a tutorial on youtube on how to place an image inside the text you write. Since this is the rough draft I just chose the first thing that popped up in my head which was a picture of a field of sunflowers because that’s my favorite flower. Right now it looks pretty cool but it is hard to tell what I am trying to spell out so maybe I will try to make the text bigger and make my first and last name on two different lines instead of one. Even though I think it looks cute right now but I know it is pretty basic so that’s why I want to step it up a notch and try to make a collage of pictures of myself to insert inside of my name. It would be large and pretty much cover the whole header so it is pretty much a whole new logo for my youtube page. Maybe I will also try to make a shadow behind the text. The background color doesn’t really matter since my logo will eventually be taken off of this background and inserted on to my previous header.

I always have some much I want to do in my head but I have a hard time bringing it to life so hopefully I can actually create what I have in mind.

As you can see, I am not the best artist but hopefully what I actually envision comes out in the final project. I want to create my name logo for my future youtube channel.
